The Role

The role involves carrying out planned plumbing maintenance to properties, ensuring all work is undertaken to a high standard with the minimum of Supervision. A Multi-skilled/Plumber would also ideally be able to cover most aspects of property maintenance including carpentry and joinery, and patch plastering to enable you to complete all parts of a job rather than just your core trade, experience is essential. You will take ownership of work, aiming for 'First time Fix' on all jobs whilst remaining within budget and time parameters. You will also operate within company Health and Safety guidelines and remain up to date with technical and legal requirements of your skill areas. Typical work will comprise of day to day repairs/maintenance, renewal or refurbishment works to properties. There is a contractual requirement to be on an out of hours rota.

The Project

Our tradespeople use their skills to complete the whole job rather than just part of it. If your preference is to specialise purely as a Plumber this is not the role for you; but please keep your eye on the website in future for other opportunities that you may prefer. Our Midland Heart Branch covers the following areas: Coventry, Leicester, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Rugby and Leamington. Essential Criteria
C&G Craft/Advanced Craft
Certificate in Plumbing or the equivalent to these which are
C&G L2 & L3 6129 Technical
Certificate + NVQ 2+3
Certificates in Plumbing C&G 6089
Full UK driving licence

Desirable Qualifications
JIBP H&S Test certificate with current JIBP card
Unvented Hot Water Certificate
Water Regulations Certificate
Past experience in a responsive repairs role
