Product / Category Manager
Experienced and skilled Product / Category Manager required to join a leading multi-channel retailer based in Birmingham.
The purpose of this role is to lead in the delivery of the end to end execution of the product journey, working closely with the Directors and the Head of E-Commerce. The key responsibilities of the role will be to develop the product management and publishing team to identify and execute sales opportunities, identify selling opportunities on a product, brand, and category basis, to analyse sales performance, research new products to drive range development, plan and forecast sales of products, brands, and categories, launch new products and work with the marketing team, understand the customer base, competitive marketing, and seasonal trends, and present product, brand, and category management updates to key stakeholders.
What we're looking for
The ideal candidate for this position will have at least three years' work experience of building and implementing multi-brand product offerings and delivering online sales growth in a similar e-commerce role. You must be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the brand management and product lifecycle, and have gained experience of working with online content management, publishing, and merchandising. You will be commercially minded and highly organised, with experience of managing and mentoring a team, and of maximising business opportunities for the company.
