Hays are currently working in partnership with one of the UK's most up and coming Utilities provider to recruit a Communications Executive based in Staffordshire.
Your new role
As a Communications Executive you will be responsible for delivering and supporting the organisation's communications, both external and internal. Under the guidance of the Communications Manager, you will also be responsible for producing much of the organisation's communications collateral, both external and internal. You will do this through writing newsletters, briefings, intranet pages and the management of internal noticeboards, poster sites and television screens. Other key responsibilities as Communications Executive include:
- Planning, delivering and tracking internal and external communications as well as help maintain an internal communications planner to track activity.
- Responsibility for setting up and tracking use of the company's Yammer account, encouraging use by staff.
- Organising and delivering staff events.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you will have all-round general communications knowledge/experience across the range of marketing comms/internal comms and PR disciplines. You will also have a proven track-record of success in creating, supporting and delivering communications plans, events and announcements to a high standard as well as experience of analysing and tracking communications impact both internally and externally. Educated to graduate calibre with related study area such as marketing, communications, journalism or public relations is favourable.
