Property Solicitor/ Barrister required to join a leading local authority in the West Midlands.


Your new company
Hays are currently working in partnership with a well-established, leading local authority which aims to improve people's lives on a daily basis. In order to ensure the highest level of service and rising demand for property and community development, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor or Barrister from a property law background to join their legal services team on a permanent basis.

Your new role
You will assist the Principal Lawyer in daily case management. You will also be required to draft and review various legal documents, deal with notices and negotiate commercial leases and agreements. You will provide legal advice to your colleagues and instruct the Counsel to appear and act on behalf of the organisation. You will also assist the training and development of the members of your team.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will be a UK qualified Property Solicitor or Barrister with experience in property law, case management and knowledge of local government procedures. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to advise on property law matters to non-professionals.
