The Role: Based in the Midlands, the new Business Development Manager will be selling into the rail sector, dealing predominantly with OEMs although some time also spent with rail contractors and specialist distributors. You will be talking to production and design engineers, project managers, buyers and company directors in a role which is an even split between account management and business development. With full company and product training available as well as training academy attendance, this is a great firm to work for.

The Company: With over half a century of manufacturing excellence behind them, this award-winning company is now looking to recruit a new Business Development Manager to join their team. Their product range involves cable management products, including cable ties, protection and fixings, electrical insulation, identification systems, tooling and insulation products. They also offer bespoke products, and enjoy a global sales turnover approaching €650 million.

For this Business Development Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Field sales experience
  • A track record of selling into rail OEMs, Tier 1 and 2 suppliers and specialist distributors is essential
  • Any experience of selling electrical products is a bonus
  • You will be highly personable with excellent rapport building skills
