I am currently recruiting on behalf of Law firm based in Derby who are looking to recruit a Legal Secretary to work in the Residential Conveyancing team.
You will have experience working as a Legal Secretary working in a busy conveyancing department.
You will have copy and digital audio typing skills and good time management skills.
Other duties include document production, diary management and telephone contact with clients and other third parties. The candidate will need to be flexible when working for other fee earners within the department, willing to learn and able to use their initiative.
To apply for this position, candidates will need to be of smart appearance, demonstrate adaptability/flexibility, and have a confident and helpful telephone manner with good communication and organisational skills. The successful candidate will be professional, hardworking and reliable, with a bright, enthusiastic personality, and have the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Desirable key skills and experiences:
? Experience of working as a Legal Secretary in a solicitor's practice.
? Fast and accurate typing at least 60+ wpm.
? Ability to draft non legal correspondence.
? Ability to manage and organise large volumes of documents.
? Confident in use of email and other systems in daily work.
? Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
? Knowledge of BigHand digital dictation.
