Build Knowledge. Try it out. Drive Performance.

Ready to learn and earn with an organisation that has been recognised as one of Britain’s Top Employers? Want to gain a nationally-accredited Level 3 CMI Diploma in Management? Keen to work for a company that values diversity and supports colleagues to progress their careers? Our Early Leadership Programme is the gateway to all of this and more.

Joining our family through our Early Leadership Programme, you’ll learn how to run a store your way. Our Managers have plenty of freedom to craft the success of their branches, which means you’ll be involved in everything from sales strategies and team performance to building strong and lasting relationships with customers.

This 2 year programme will put you firmly on the path to management and beyond. In year one, you’ll join one of our 21+ leading businesses as a Customer Service Assistant to learn the ropes and really get to understand our customers, whilst following our Level 2 “Serving our Customers” Programme. Year two of the Programme will see you promoted into an Assistant Manager vacancy, where you will be given all of the tools and support you need to develop great leadership skills. To ensure you realise your full potential, we’ll provide the freedom for you to put your learning into practice and add real value to our business. All of this, as well as achieving your Level 3 CMI Diploma in Management.

This year’s programme starts in October and for the best chance of securing yourself a place on a fantastic career journey, you’ll need to be someone who:

  • Can build relationships with a wide variety of people
  • Can inspire a team to perform as one
  • Knows what great customer service looks like – and how to provide it
  • Has the dedication to get things done
  • Loves to learn, develop and expand their expertise
  • Holds a full UK driving licence, or is mobile to travel to different sites
If you’re motivated, keen to progress and ready to make your mark in a supportive, diverse environment, join us! In return, we’ll provide you with every opportunity to drive your career forward within a large and rapidly growing business with deep local roots and strong family values. Every step of the way you’ll get to enjoy a full package of perks on top of a salary that grows with you as you grow in our business.
The Travis Perkins Group is an equal opportunities employer. We are proud to have been recognised as one of Britain’s Top Employers for the 8th year in a row.
