Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for theright person to join our team as a Key Account Manager.
To obtain profitable growth throughincreased market share of the automation transactional offer in the UK - Thisposition is to penetrate, increase sales, manage opportunities, furtherSchneider energy automation ambitions within the UK, also to coordinate virtualteams to support, bid and win projects. Liaison and reporting into the globalautomation businesses shall also be the responsibility of this role.
KeyResponsibilities / activities:
Successfully grow the currentautomation transactional business profitably in the UK through development anddeployment of tactics and actions derived from the Energy Automation Strategy.
Understand customer needs and offervalue-adding solutions; create a sense of partnership; respond to the demandsof working with global customers.
Report into the UK Energymanagement team and Global Automation organisation on the market, competitorsand UK performance.
Promote the Automationtransactional offer internally and externally through supporting the UK frontoffice and Energy Marketing department. Work at C Level within your keyaccounts to identify and align Schneider Electric strategy with the client inorder to meet with company’s key short and long term goals and objectives.
Manage the efficient handling ofall customer opportunities - Ensure systems, processes and tools are utilizedand kept up to date rigorously providing timely and accurate reporting to thebusiness and to the NSE - Segment Development.
Develop relationships with theGlobal Automation department and represent the UK in Global road mapping thecurrent and future offers - Deliver key account value propositions to meet theclient’s strategies and goals presenting it to the Schneider account teamensuring key objectives and messages are delivered.
Own the external and internalawareness and training of the automation solutions application offer in the UKthrough such as lunch-and-learn to CPD accredited training - Create and utilizekey account relationship tools and skills from Demand Creation - Relationship Suite.
Enable Schneider to become a'thought leader' on automation applications in the UK through the relevantforums and influencing groups.
Build and maintain relationshipswith customers and key internal contacts to ensure Schneider meets or exceedsexpectations?
Identify, understand, and provide atotal value proposition/complete solution to the customers’ business needs -Create ‘One’ Schneider business plans for each of your key accounts that sitwithin your named account list.
Experience in either successfullydelivering growth through managing an offer or extensive experience in thecustomer interaction at a prescription level for protection solutions isessential for this role. Demonstrateexcellent customer service standards. Demonstrate good self-control whilstworking under pressure. Excellent communication skills at all levels (written,verbal and presentation) Strong technical knowledge – Proactive to staycurrent in the Energy industry and key features and applications for allSchneider solutions and offers. Demonstrate self and team leadership,organisation and motivational skills. Demonstrates strong business acumen with upto date knowledge of segment business trends.
