Our Client; a Globally operating Tier 1 Automotive company that specialise in the supply and manufacture of high technology electronic components seek an experienced Warranty Manager on a permanent basis. On offer to the successful candidate will be a negotiable, albeit based upon relevant experience, basic salary, together with a full and comprehensive benefits package.

Reporting to the Senior Quality Manager, your main tasks will be to co-ordinate and follow-up with the quality activities of the Program and report and record any quality concerns found on any new parts supplied by our Client. You will be providing the total quality liaison function.

Additionally, you will take responsibility for the following:
1.Providing hands-on technical assistance for component field failures, ensuring parts are diagnostic/analysed and project managed through to preventative design, supply or build action.
2.Will be responsible for working closely with the customer and suppliers on all warranty related activities.
3.Will co-ordinate Warranty Analyst activities.
4.Will ensure Warranty administrative functions within the quality department are carried out in accordance with company policy.

Qualifications & Experience ideally required:
-Should at least possess secondary school qualifications in Maths and English.
-Should have prior experience of dealing with Product Warranty Claims, preferably within the Automotive manufacturing sector.
-Should ideally have a familiarity with the vehicle assembly process and Automotive Wiring Harness production methods.
-Will have a working knowledge of APQP, Global 8D, PPAP, SPC, CPK, Taguchi, Ishikawa, Poke-Yoke, Kaizen and Six-Sigma processes.
-You will have a working knowledge of SPIRE, PAWS and AWS warranty systems.
-Will have the technical ability to mine, manipulate and analyse data.
-Will have a good working knowledge of Windows and MS Office products, especially spread sheet and database applications.
-Will possess excellent communication skills at all levels.
-Will need to drive, be fully authorised to work within the UK without the need for sponsorship and also flexible to undertake Domestic and International travel with overnight stays away from home occasionally.
