We’re Cambian CAMHS services and for over 20 years we’ve put the people we support at the heart of everything that we do. We support thousands of young people with complex needs in our residential homes, at work or in the community to live the life they choose however varied or complex that life may be. We make a difference through a combination of our specialist knowledge, experience and by supporting our young people and their families to shape our services.

Our dedicated care team ensures that each individual’s care programme is designed to affect a gradual process of development. A combination of person-centred therapeutic planning, measurement of progress and a full multi-disciplinary approach ensures the best outcomes for the young people in our care.

Job Role

In this job you will be helping to provide the best possible quality of care to young people. You will also be helping to create a pleasant working environment for other people who work here.

Full induction training is given. You will also learn from some of the most dedicated and inspirational people in our profession and just like our residents you will be learning all the time through our on-going mentoring and support.

Shift Pattern

Working Hours 8pm to 8.00am

*There will be a possible requirement to work Day Shifts in times of need.

Candidate Profile
You will be a strong team player, confident and motivated and well organised. Patience and commitment are essential, but above all you’ll be someone with a genuine desire to help others.

For this roles you will need to possess some or all of the following skills and attributes:

  • Residential Care Worker Qualifications/Level 3 CYP
  • Empathetic and a good listener/communicator
  • Be pro-active in your approach
  • Articulate, Numerate and Literate
  • Skills and Experience is Essential
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • The ability to build positive relationships with young people
  • Knowledge of the needs of different client groups
  • A non-judgemental approach
  • The ability to work in a team and also use your initiative
  • Computer literacy and administration skills
  • Resilience
  • Outcome focused and driven
