We are recruiting for caring and supportive Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support with challenging behaviour in our partner school in Coventry. This role is open to experienced individuals who are looking to become Educational or Clinical Psychologists.

The Behavioural Learning Support Assistant (LSA) will be a dedicated individual who is committed to the well-being of pupils and is able to support with the development of pupils with a statement of SEN and challenging behaviour.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with preparing learning materials under the supervision of the teacher. You will be working with pupils on a 1:1 supporting a pupil with challenging behaviour. The Learning Support Assistant (LSA) will also support with children's physical, social and emotional welfare, creating a stimulating environment. You will be required to provide feedback to the SENCo and teachers therefore, keeping a record and attending meetings may also be necessary.

The skills required for this Learning Support Assistant role must have experience of working with young pupils. As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will have a good understanding of working with vulnerable young people. The ideal Learning Support Assistant must be committed to the well-being of children both academically and socially as well as having good written communication and timekeeping skills.
