Technical Support - Networks
Our client, a professional IT Services company, is looking for a technical specialist. The company provides IT Consultancy, hosted services, Integration and Support services to Enterprise and SME businesses across the UK and Ireland.
Your primary role will be to provide 2nd/3rd line technical support to the company’s customers. This will include IT infrastructure support both remotely and on-site. You will also be involved in design and delivery of small to medium scale infrastructure projects, managing the technical relationship with clients and supporting the delivered solution.
The key personal characteristics needed for this role include:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with vendors and customers with varying degrees of technical knowledge.
Ability to form strong relationships with customers, ensuring customer service is a high priority at all times.
Flexible and adaptable (e.g. be prepared to travel in UK and be prepared to work outside of standard office hours).
Ability to work on own initiatives
Strong problem solving skills
The Essential Technical skills needed for this role include:
CCNA Certified, working towards CCNP
Design, Install, Configure and Support:
Security Solutions (including Cisco/Palo Alto firewalls)
VOIP Telephony Solutions
Barracuda Appliances (Web Filter, Spam Filter)
Aruba Wireless Networks
WLAN/LAN (Lease lines, FTTC)
A good understanding of project management and service delivery processes is also required for this role.

Salary: £27,000-£35,000 (dependent on experience)
