As Business Development Manager, you will take responsibility for a securing range of commercial manufacturing innovation projects, and working closely with internal engineers, managers and executive team supporting large, complex global accounts.
The role requires the ability to secure, plan and direct projects, including allocating resources, budgeting and coordinating with other team members and wider stakeholders. Ensuring the company's financial objectives are fully delivered.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
    Support the Strategic Account Manager in the planning and delivery of account management and identify opportunities to grow the business

    Draft commercial proposals to internal accounts, see work from proposals through to roll out

    Maintain commercial aspects of your projects and accounts including budgeting and forecasting

    Provide briefs for the technical teams to ensure work is accurately quoted and will l meet client objectives

    Understand the fundamental business strategy, positioning and objectives of our clients

    Direct projects from kick-off to completion – working in collaboration with the team, client, solution providers and academic/research institutions

    Hold brainstorming sessions to identify solutions to meet clients objectives and work with client stakeholders to get their buy-in

    Be responsible for client and internal communication throughout the lifecycle of project delivery, from requirements gathering to briefing teams to launch and everything in between

    Ensure the client’s requirements for quality are fully delivered

    Contribute to new regional, national business opportunities and pitches

    Manage administrative work, such as newsletters and reports, as appropriate, with a keen attention to detail

    Attend events and activities to support engagement with local stakeholders

Knowledge and Experience:
    The ideal candidate will have 4+ years experience in a comparable role and will bring with them a thorough understanding of the Innovation and regional high E volume manufacturing landscapeWe are looking for someone with excellent client management skills, with a proven ability to understand our client’s needs, their sector and how innovative technologies, tools and methods can help them meet their objectives.
