An opportunity has arisen for an Estates Manager to work in our Birmingham Office on a Fixed Term Contract. This is an important role in which you will be part of a small group of individuals responsible for every aspect of property within the business. From new business proposals to facilities management, the group is responsible for the whole life cycle of property ownership.

Essentially, you will be responsible for providing the Ingeus divisions with appropriate, safe and efficient estates and facilities solutions across the entire contract lifecycle from acquisition to disposal.

A typical day will include:

· Developing and maintaining positive and effective relationships with all stakeholders including suppliers and contractors.

· Ensuring all sites are maintained to agreed standards and regulations by assisting in the assessment of health and safety compliance across sites. Making recommendations and implementing corrective actions where required.

· Ensuring the physical security of every site by means of risk assessment, management and review.

· Assessing each site to ensure the efficient supply and use of utilities.

· Managing any change requests required to the estate from acquisition to churn and adaption through to exit and disposal.

About you:

You must have the following experience and skills:

Nebosh Diploma, CMIOSH, CBIFM.

Nebosh Certificate.

Good knowledge of real estate law.

Good knowledge of health & safety and environmental law.

Experience of managing and logically prioritising a varied and complex workload.

Experience of all stages of estates management from acquisition to disposal.

Experience in using CAFM systems.
