Our client has several opportunities for talented Developers to help deliver industry-leading software solutions. You will have involvement at all stages of the SDLC, being given autonomy and responsibility from conception and design right through to implementation, solving issues along the way. Developers are encouraged to stay abreast of evolving technologies and supported in attaining Microsoft certification. They are currently transitioning from VB.NET to C# so Developers must be happy to work in both technologies, both desktop and web development.

What you’ll need:

Essential

• At least three year’s continual commercial experience developing Windows Forms applications in VB.Net or C#

• Good working knowledge of T-SQL, Microsoft SQL Server (2005 onwards) and relational database design

• Ability to write and optimize T-SQL queries

• Experience of Object Oriented programming practices Beneficial

• Experience working with financial software or from working in the financial sector

• Unit testing

• WPF

• WCF

• Web development experience in ASP.NET(Web Forms, MVC) / JavaScript

• Degree, ideally 2:1 or higher in a scientific/engineering discipline.
