This rapidly expanding technology management company based on the outskirts of Birmingham is looking for a Customer Services Director to report directly to the UK MD and drive the future growth of the organisation. The company is part of a larger international group and is a world leader in the design and development of the technology, expanding exponentially within the EMEA market. This organisation operates in a highly regulated and tightly controlled industry and this individual will ensure that the company’s continue growth complies with the strict controls necessary to operate within these regulations.
The Customer Services Director will manage a large team based at the company’s main UK location in Birmingham and will be responsible for ensuring compliance and a productive relationship with the industry’s regulatory bodies. Another key part of this role will be to maintain strong relationships with third parties and to manage PR for the organisation. You will drive continuous and process improvements within the team, ensuring that the highest of standards are maintained.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing large teams ideally in a highly regulated environment, such as financial services. You should be able to demonstrate experience of end to end people management, including on boarding, performance management, absence management and staff development. You should also be resilient and confident in dealing with the requests from regulatory bodies and third parties, particularly requests for frequent audits. Equally important will be the ability to demonstrate highly effective analytical, decision making and problem solving skills
