About the role

We have an opportunity for a Sales Support Manager to join and lead the Single Point of Contact Team in Leamington Spa. The team size is currently 14 with 2 team leaders. The SPOC team manage orders for our largest customers including Tescos and there are a number of other large accounts currently being on boarded. The team is expanding and is a key asset of the Wolseley New Business bids process. Over £900k of Pipe orders and £4million of Climate orders are administered by this team every year.

Key activities:

  • To manage Single Point of Contact team
    1. Set and drive daily/weekly/monthly activity & objectives
    2. Support team to achieve objectives
    3. Monitor and measure team performance
    4. Develop systems and process to ensure continuous improvement practice
    5. Plan the future - develop and convert pipeline
    6. Training - coach and mentor and develop SPOC team members
    7. Update key stakeholders - provide reporting suite to Dept Head/other key stakeholders
  • Liaise with manufacturers to offer a co-ordinated response to projects

Negotiate project support/special pricing where required

About you

  • Working knowledge of a sales team/sales environment
  • Experience of managing an developing a team, in particular of training and advancing key skills
  • Strong Excel knowledge, you will need to maintain and develop advanced Sales trackers
