A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a customer service advisor to join a global manufacturing company based locally to Oldbury.
Within this role you would become the ‘voice’ of the company and is an extremely varied and versatile department.

Salary = £17-18,000 + perks
Hours - Monday-Friday 8:30-5pm


Main Duties and Responsibilities:


• Being the first point of contact for incoming telephone calls
• Determine the customer’s requirements through questioning skills
• Process requests from customers and colleagues via telephone, e-mail and fax
• Liaise regularly with customers to provide real-time status reports on currently active work
• Meet service level agreements by escalating customer calls appropriately.
• Participate in process improvement activities
• Cover and support other roles and responsibilities within the Service Division

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following attributes:
• Have a strong focus on quality customer service with a natural desire to meet and exceed customer expectations
• Have previous telephone based customer service experience
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude who also is able to work independently
• Ability to prioritise workload
• Process driven with the confidence to raise queries to aid efficiency
• Calm and focused when working in a pressurised environment
• Ability to learn quickly and use knowledge in decision making whilst accepting the need to adapt to changing circumstances
• Computer literate with a solid working knowledge of Windows
