If you have 6 months or more experience in Payroll, local to the South Birmingham area and are looking to further your career in Payroll call me on .

We are looking for someone who thrives on working in a fast paced environment, has a basic understand of payroll legislation and looking for development within payroll. You would be working with an excellent Payroll Manager who is keen to develop and train a Payroll professional. Full support will be given in all areas.

The role involves the following:

  • Maintain payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data

  • Calculate pay based on time records, benefits, and taxes

  • Resolve queries

  • Adheres to payroll policies / procedures and legislation

  • Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records

  • Completes various payroll reports

  • Statutory calculations such as SMP, SSP, SAP, SHPL

  • Process and file multiple pension schemes in line with Auto Enrolment legislation.
