Senior/ Principal Recruitment Consultant- Nursing
Basic salary up to £30,000 DOE/ £50,000 OTE + private healthcare, pension scheme, childcare vouchers, additional bonus scheme and 25 days holiday.
Harrison Sands have a really exciting opportunity open for an experienced healthcare recruitment consultant to join our client as a Senior/ Principal Consultant who are part of a £60 million turnover organisation and are an established supplier of nursing and healthcare staff to the NHS England and Wales. Our client currently service the Midlands region from their head office in the North West, but due to the volumes of client requirements they have they are now looking to open operations in Birmingham, with the Senior/ Principal Recruitment Consultant leading the team, with a plan in place to progress to Branch Manager as the site becomes established.
We are looking for a consultant with a strong background as an agency recruiter with at least 2 years experience in the recruitment, booking and placement of temporary nurses. Day to day you will be liasing with NHS trusts and hospitals to maintain and develop business relationships and managing the incoming vacancies effectively. Although our client do already have a bank of nurses working in the area they are looking to increase this so attraction of temps and registering or nurses is an important part of this role. Our client are lucky enough to have great marketing budgets to allow them to use multiple advertising streams to attract staff as well as attend industry events.
All applicants must have experience of recruiting temporary nursing staff along with the desire to progress their career in a dynamic and progressive agency. Due to the client facing nature of the role a UK driving licence is preferred. You should also possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop lasting business relationships.
