Due to expansion Kingscroft have been asked to recruit for a Site Manager by a successful house building company based in the Oswestry area, to work across a number of nationwide developments. The Site Manager will oversee all the construction operations on site, this key role within the business is accountable for all aspects of the operational build process. My client are offering a salary ranging from £35k-£45k dependent on experience and would welcome applications from Assistant Site Managers, if they have a residential/house building background.
My client, based in the Shropshire region offer a wide range of services which include:
- New Build Construction
- Restoration and Refurbishment
- Social Housing
- Private Development
- Quantity Surveying and Estimating Services.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong project management skills with detailed building and construction experience. We also need someone with the ability to manage people and create a strong team spirit on site. Also it would be an advantage if the candidate could come from a house build/residential background.
Qualifications needed for this role are:
- Health and Safety Qualification.
All other relevant qualifications will be an advantage.
Projects worked on will typically be residential works, my client are currently working on a 40 plot new build site as well as previously working on student accommodation in the UK's big cities.
As a Site Manager you are responsible for making sure that construction is completed within agreed timelines, cost parameters, safely and to our customers' satisfaction. You will be the number one on site, overseeing projects from planning/pre-construction phase all through to completion.
