Customer Support Executive / Partner Support - Telecoms - The Company

Customer Support Executive / Partner Support - Telecoms - The role

The overall remit of the role is to offer exceptional levels of customer service relating to the processing of orders, dealing with general account queries, acting as a commercial help-line and working with the field and desk based sales teams to maximise connections for the partner or re-seller customer base.


  • Incoming partner enquiries (via telephone or PC)

  • Handling network discount authorisation process on behalf of partners

  • Assisting partners with deal stacking

  • Technical support

  • Proactive customer care

  • Working with field based Business Development Managers and Internal Partner Development Executives to manage and service accounts

    The Candidate

  • Telecoms or IT industry background would be beneficial

  • Experience working in customer service, helpdesk or sales desk environment

  • An interest in mobile technology

  • Understanding of basic elements of telephone account management

  • Self-starter: able to motivate self and work within a team

  • Proven track record, and successful in an internal sales or customer service role

  • Excellent communicator with good verbal and written skills

  • Sales driven and passionate about achieving results

  • Good follow through - delivering on promises

  • Commercially astute

  • PC literate

  • Numerate and able to interpret and produce sales related data

  • Assertive with the ability to remain calm under pressure

    Salary package:

  • Basic £18.5k to £20k per annum depending on relevant experience

  • 10% performance related bonus (after 12 months’ service)

  • Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Monday to Thursday inclusive) and 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Fridays). Half an hour for lunch each day - 37.5 hours per week
