Multi Skilled Engineer - London & Home Counties - up to £45k
Due to continued expansion, we are looking to add to our workforce of multi-skilled engineers in the London and Home Counties. Salary up to £45K
A vehicle is provided for work use along with a fuel card
Time & a half overtime paid for anything over 40 hours
20 days annual leave plus 8 days statutory holiday
Uniform provided along with main tools required for the industry (hand tools are not provided)
The roles will involve:
- Offering both technical support & Compliance advice with confidence
- A strong electrical bias is essential in single and three phase installations with a strong bias towards controls fault finding to fulfil the required role
- A proven fault finding diagnostic ability is essential, with a good understanding of current gas, electrical & Fgas regulations & compliance requirements
- Experience in both installation & maintenance of heating & hot water systems
To fulfil the role it essential that the engineer meets the criteria in the following disciplines
Minimum of 5 years commercial (with domestic) gas experience within the service industry in a role comprising of both reactive & planned preventive maintenance operations
A proven track record working with the following types of equipment : Combi-boiler, Atmospheric boilers/water heaters, Pressure jet boilers/water heaters, Floor mounted & suspended warm air heaters (direct & indirect fired), Radiant tube heaters.
ACS gas qualifications required, but not limited to:
CODNCO1, CORT1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1A, CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 & MET1
Minimum of 5 years' experience, with the diagnostic skills to clearly identify inherent faults such as: refrigerant gas low pressure, compressor failure. Experience in installation & maintenance is essential in fulfilling this role.
A proven track record working with the following types of equipment (but not limited to): Split systems, VRV systems, Air/water cooled chillers, Fridges/Freezers (commercial & domestic)
Minimum Fgas qualification required - 2079 (or equivalent)
A Minimum of 5 years proven experience required, in both single & 3-phase installations with a bias towards control panel experience.
Proven experience of heating & ventilation systems including gas interlock control systems wiring, ventilation, heating & air conditioning control systems.
Electrical qualifications required - 17th Edition (BS7671)
Please note PAF & PASMA licences are essential in the delivering of the services within the multi skilled engineer role.
