We are currently recruiting on behalf of our prestigious client based in Ashby de la Zouch for a Purchasing Administrator to assist the Purchasing Department on a full time basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Run overdue purchase order report on a daily basis and chase suppliers accordingly

- Place orders for raw materials via MRP system to meet planned production requirements

- Run MRP exception report and amend requested delivery dates as required

- Chase order confirmations in a timely manner and ensure data in business system is accurate

- Amend order delivery dates if required

- Place consumable orders for the business as required and close order lines upon receipt

- Schedule and create label requests for internal print in conjunction with work schedule

- Investigate and resolve any invoice queries

- Review stock holding levels and stock reorder points as necessary

- Request sample material as required

- Request quotations as required

- Assist with the maintenance of the purchase process.

- Vendor pre-contract audits and appraisals

- Vendor rating and appraisals

- Souring of existing and new materials as required

- Maintaining an orderly and systematic filing and general administration system.

- Adhering to the Company's policies and procedures. To be as flexible as possible and carry out any other duties within the department which may be required.

This is role is offering a very competitive salary of between £20,000 and £22,000 per annum depending on salary. Due to the location of this company your own transport will be required and public transport is limited to the site.
