Community and Stakeholder Engagement Executive
Specialist communications agency is looking for an experienced and talented Community and Stakeholder Engagement Executive to join their growing team, after a company expansion.
Due to the investment in infrastructure happening in Birmingham, this well-established, multi-sited PR and communications agency, based in one of the premier addresses in the city, is now expanding further. Consequently, they need a Community and Stakeholder Engagement Executive to work predominantly on existing business, and help them to establish and confirm their presence as they expand. The main responsibilities of this role will be to support the account management team on projects and campaigns, undertake research and database production and stakeholder/community mapping, drafting letters, briefings, and materials, supervising external suppliers, organise and attend meetings and events, manage stakeholder enquiries, monitor media and social media, and supporting the agency's business development work. You would also be expected to act as a guardian for the agency's culture and brand, and to endeavour to articulate and promote their values, brand position, and quality standards.
What we're looking for
You will need to have gained experience of working in a PR and communications consultancy environment, preferably at PR Account Executive level or equivalent, but relevant PR and community / stakeholder engagement experience gained in an in-house role will also be considered. You will need knowledge of communications, consultation, and engagement tools and applications, media and social media management, stakeholder engagement and consultation, and public affairs and political structures. On top of this, you should have excellent interpersonal skills, budget management skills, and the ability to make a positive contribution to client accounts, projects, and campaigns, as well as ambition, motivation, tenacity, attention to detail, and enthusiasm. Knowledge of B2B PR techniques would be an advantage. Similarly, while experience in the infrastructure, construction, and development sectors is not a prerequisite, it would be very advantageous.
What's on offer
The salary on offer for this role is between £22,000 and £24,000, depending on your level of experience. This agency is extremely successful, and will continue to be so as it expands. So if you have all the required experience and are looking for a new and challenging role in which to develop your communications and engagement career, don't hesitate.
