Based at our Head Office at the Walsgrave Triangle in Coventry the Assistant Category Development Manager will support the delivery of the OTC (over the counter) supplier strategy across Celesio UK. This will include supporting the delivery of supplier management strategy and supporting the Category Development Manager to develop the retail margin strategy to ensure delivery of budgeted targets.

We are looking for someone who has worked in a trading environment such as a Senior Assistant or Junior Buyer and someone with commercial acumen and an analytical brain. There is a lot of cross functional working within the role across Operations, Finance and externally with suppliers; as such we will need a strong resilient communicator as well.

Location:

This role is based at our Support Centre in Coventry, Walsgrave Triangle, CV2 2TX. We are located just off junction 2 of the M6, easily accessible by car. If using public transport, we are 5.5 miles from Coventry train station, approx. 40 minutes by bus from the station.
