Reporting to the Nursery Manager, we are seeking to appoint a lively and enthusiastic person to join our dynamic and innovative team. The job holder will work in the nursery setting, joining an established team under the direction of the Nursery Manager. They will ensure that every child in their care is well-supported and encouraged to develop themselves as an individual. They will respond to the children’s needs by planning suitable activities to help them progress in their learning, and feed back to parents on how their child is getting on.

An appreciation and understanding of the ethos of the school is essential.An NVQ Level 3 Childcare qualification is desirable but consideration will be given to applicants who are willing to undergo training to work towards the NVQ Level 3 Certificate.

This is a full time all year round post, ideally working Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.45am to 6.00pm on a rota basis, for 8 hours a day with a 45 minute un-paid lunch break. The holiday entitlement is five weeks paid holiday, plus Bank Holidays, to be booked by agreement with the line manager. One week must be booked when the Nursery is closed, usually during the Christmas holidays.

Salary: £14,958 to £14,958 FTE (B11-B15 on the Princethorpe Foundation Pay Scale) by negotiation, depending on qualifications and relevant experience.
