Communications Officer (Entry-Level role)
Based in Binley

We are now on the lookout for a highly motivated Communications Officer who is looking to take that all important first step in their marketing career and gain experience in a fast-paced commercial environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious and well established team and play a pivotal role in assisting the Internal Communications Manager in the development and execution of the internal communications strategy for Jewson.
Some of your key responsibilities as Communications Officer will include:
- To be jointly responsible in the development and maintenance of the intranet
- To be responsible for the development and deliberance of the weekly email newsletter
- To assist with the writing, content production, and editing of the bi-monthly internal magazine
- To assist with the organisation and arrangements with major conferences, courses and events

For the Communications Officer Role we will be looking for you to specifically demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience:
- Strong copywriting skills
- Creative Flair
- Strong Project management skills
- Valid UK driving license
We aim to ensure that our marketing team delivers a great service to our customers, this role is therefore key to our business and will require someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with external stakeholders at all levels.
