The systems have been developed over the years to be almost self-contained, however they do include pumps, electronically controlled valves, sensors, metering systems and logic controllers.

£19,000 - £28,000 basic, £24,000 to £35,000 with over time plus extra bonus, call out fees and allowances - choice of estate car, pension, excellent ongoing training, good prospects.

You need to have a stable field service engineering background, engineering qualification, electrical experience and dealt with laboratories, healthcare, hospitals, pharmaceutical industry with experience of laboratory equipment of any kind and excellent communications skills.
Your role will be to complete regular planned maintenance on the systems, taking samples for testing, calibration, as well as fault diagnosis for any breakdowns.
The company are looking for an engineer to initially work alongside the existing engineer, who will give excellent training and support to the new person and as time goes by you would take ownership of specific major accounts as your relationship with laboratory managers and site engineers develop.
You need to have experience of field service engineering, a good work ethic and excellent communication skills.
