Salary GBP33,487 per annum

About the role
You'll be responsible for projects relating to planned maintenance, improvement works and refurbishments, including creating appropriate contract specifications and schedules of works. Using your excellent communication skills you'll liaise with contractors and supply chain partners to research options, and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Where appropriate, you will also investigate opportunities for external funding.
You will have good technical knowledge and significant experience in affordable housing with a HNC/HND or equivalent in a relevant discipline, along with knowledge of building maintenance contracts. We'll expect that you have demonstrable knowledge of building construction and standards, plus planning regulations and regulatory standards. You will be a self-motivated and organised individual, with excellent standards of customer service and strong IT skills. A valid driving licence and your own transport are essential.
Due to the nature of the role you will occasionally be required to attend evening and weekend meetings and events.
