For this Teaching Assistant - Primary role we are hoping for a caring graduate who has a second class degree and a passion for education. You should have an upbeat and positive disposition and a willing to achieve your potential as a teacher. To be a successful Primary Teaching Assistant you will have the communication skills which enable you to interpret and convey information to pupils in a positive and clear manner. Ideally you will have previous class room experience either on a paid or voluntary basis.

This Teaching Assistant - Primary role involves you working in different classes depending on the needs of the school, all within Key Stage 2. Your responsibilities will include working together your colleagues to produce a dynamic learning environment that can react to the fast-pace of the modern classroom. Part of your role as a Teaching Assistant will be to plan and deliver small group sessions to high ability pupils, ensuring they are challenged to reach the attainment levels they have been set. You will also be required to support pupils who need additional support in class so a supportive and flexible approach is key.
