GBP18,000 to GBP20,000 + uncapped commission (OTE GBP30,000)

As a result of rapid expansion, several exciting job openings in Financial Technology (FinTech) sales have become available for ambitious, intelligent and energetic individuals looking for the opportunity to learn and develop a rewarding career in Sales and Business Development.

Selling a range of financial and technical solutions to online (eCommerce) retailers, the Retailer Engagement Team will be responsible for engaging with senior level clients by telephone, to determine how to help them improve their customer online buying practices and how best to create and deliver the most workable solution to address those requirements.

This is not a "standard" telemarketing job; you won't be expected to follow a robotic style script and simply bash the phones from morning until home time - and you won't be selling something that your customers don't want! In today's online retail market, workable payment solutions and obtainable credit options are absolutely key to the consumer - your clients know this, so they will be ready to talk to you about our outstanding product!

We're looking for intelligent and eloquent individuals with enquiring minds and a thirst for learning. People who demonstrate a serious and participative approach to the business world and a desire to get to know their customers. You're going to be working with a technical product in a web driven environment, so a clear understanding of online practices, social media, ecommerce would be great; though a general appreciation of IT is essential. Your client base is firmly rooted in the retail sector, so if you've some experience of working within retail or hospitality or selling a product to retail based customers, that would be of considerable interest to us.

Most of all, we're looking for positive attitude and confident, clear oral communication skills; the ability to strike up a meaningful conversation by telephone and hold your customer's attention is of paramount importance. This is a sales role with targets and goals to aim for, so if you are a competitive person who's driven by achievement, you're going to enjoy being part of our team.

Clearly, some previous experience in telemarketing or business development in a business-to-business environment will be an added bonus to your application. However, if you're a recent graduate with retail, hospitality or financial work experience or you have some great project / extra-curricular experience gained during your education, we'd still like to hear from you.
