Macildowie HR has a great opportunity for an HR Officer to participate in a large range of HR activities, with a specific focus on TUPE. The role will be on an initial 12 month temporary basis with the likelihood of it going permanent. It will be a generalist role to support the ins and outs of the business, with the project focus on TUPE. The role is looking to pay GBP27,000 to GBP33,000 dependant on experience and is based in Warwickshire.

The Role


The role is a generalist HR officer role; however there is project focus on TUPE, to assist in the changing in contracts of those employees within the business who are changing site or role. You will also undertake Employee Relations casework, working with the relevant managers, staff and trades union representatives including sickness absence, discipline, grievance and capability cases. There is the need for an ability to develop effective working relationships with clients and advise on the full range of HR activities and to work in partnership with clients and develop a good understanding of their activities in order to work with the HR Manager and Director of HR to contribute to the development of HR plans which link into the overall HR Strategy.

Experience Sought in Ideal Candidate


The ideal candidate will have strong experience in a generalist HR role, and have previously dealt with a high volume of TUPE. Sound knowledge of the principles of Employment Law is also a must in a successful candidate, so as to keep line manager up to date with any changes and therefore help reduce risk within the business.. You will also have great administrative and organisation skills alongside excellent knowledge of HR policies & procedures to be able to hit the ground running and enjoy a fast paced role!
