Teaching Assistant to support 3 ASD pupils with complex needs in high achieving Secondary School in Bham
Your new school
Your new school is an exceptionally high performing secondary school in Central Bham where new pupils will be joining in September. Your new role
You role will be to support three Year 7 pupils who are arriving in September with complex needs on the Autistic Spectrum. You will be well supported by the SEN team and SLT within pastoral care to ensure your resources and policies are provided however, you will have an empathy and an understanding of how to work independently with these candidates.
What you'll need to succeed
A level 3 qualification or equivalent and key proven experience working with ASD is imperative as well as an ability to commit to the children for as long as they need, this position may become permanent. You will need a patient, caring and empathetic nature and at least 6months-year recent experience in a similar capacity.
