As a First Line Manager within the Hub team you will report directly to the Hub Operations Managers and will play a key role in running Hub operation.

Key responsibilities of this role include:-

·To manage loading/unloading to clear floor in line with operational instructions

·Responsible for implementation of Health, Safety & Environmental policies and

·Resolve immediate operational problems, raising to Hub Operations Manager if necessary

·To maintain quality procedures

·Planning of employee resource levels and third party resource to achieve operational targets

·To complete daily operational reports

·To achieve set KPI's in terms of productivity, Absence, Health and Safety, Costs to Plan and accuracy (Mis-routes)

·To hold regular briefing meetings with employees to communicate relevant information

·To manage staffing levels in terms of areas worked by staff, Fork Lift Truck manning and breaks taken

Successful candidates will need to have relevant Management / Supervisory experience in a similar fast paced environment, be driven and flexible to suit business needs.
