Burton and South Derbyshire College is seeking to appoint a qualified, committed and enthusiastic individual to join our Sport and Public Services Curriculum Team to deliver on a range on Public Services courses at Levels 2 - 3.

Applicants will ideally hold a relevant degree level qualification (or equivalent) in a Public Services related subject, coupled with substantial vocational experience within a relevant Public Services setting. The College welcomes applications from vocational specialists in such fields as Police, Armed Forces and Health Care who desire to pursue careers in further education and are willing to undertake an initial teacher training qualification.

The College is looking for an individual who is committed to helping learners stretch and challenge themselves and develop the skills sets necessary for progressing onto their next career step.

The successful candidate will teach across a range of Public Services modules at level two and three, aligned to their occupational skillset in-order to deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessments to our learners. In this role, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate innovative teaching and learning, coupled with excellent communication skills to motivate and guide learners to succeed.
