Hays are exclusively recruiting a Procurement Specialist on behalf of a Birmingham based technology company.
Your new role
As the Procurement Specialist you will be responsible for implementing and improving controls over the purchasing processes by assessing tenders, raising Purchase Orders, and ensuring good receipting practice. You will also manage the day to day running of the fleet, auditing driving licences, and assisting with insurance renewal.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have proven experience in a similar role, as well as Fleet and Facilities Management. You will be frequently liaising and negotiating with suppliers so the ideal candidate will be personable with excellent communication skills. Also, you will be driven, resilient, and not afraid to say no.
What you'll get in return
A starting salary of circa. £34,000 per annum, plus pension and 28 days holiday (incl. bank holidays).
