Description:

A small and accommodating organisation within the construction industry is seeking a skilled and confident office manager to oversee the day to day running of their busy friendly office.

This is a varied role that will require you to take ownership of their accounts function, in particular their sales ledger. You will also ensure the efficient and effective running of the organisations' central administration service providing full administrative and customer support.

This varied, interesting and challenging role is key to the success of the business. The successful candidate will enjoy working in an autonomous role within a fast-paced environment, and will have a good sense of humour!

Key Duties:

* Overseeing all administration functions within the organisation
* Activate and manage all related administration regarding ongoing client projects; ensuring all activity, correspondence, costings and invoices are recorded properly
* Assist with preparing sales tenders and quotes
* Manage the accounts function ensuring all invoices are paid and proactively managing the sales ledger to include chasing payments
* Place orders and build relationships with suppliers
* Provide administration support to the MD to include booking travel and hotel arrangements
* Collate timesheets and all relevant paperwork off contractors
* Ad hoc duties as required

Key Skills/Experience Required:

* Extensive administration experience
* Experience of multi-tasking and happy executing a busy role within a small, fast-paced environment
* Excellent Microsoft office skills
* Accounts experience essential
* A strong character who is able to question and challenge things
