Role description:

An exciting vacancy in our Sales Department has arisen for a Sales Person to join the team.

Reporting to our Senior Sales Manager you will be responsible for developing and managing your own sales pipeline to identify, qualify, bid, negotiate and close direct customer sales.

Attend customer and partner visits, industry events and workshops, globally as appropriate in order to promote ZephIR Lidar products and maintain and gain new customers.

Achieve personal agreed annual sales revenue targets and assist in the achievement of combined annual sales team targets

Proactive prospects and opportunity generation activity via direct and indirect customer engagement.

Manage customer accounts and prospect information on the Company database and provide aftersales Support.

Build and maintain excellent working relationships with customers, partners, suppliers, associations and the broader ZephIR marktet

Support existing overseas partners, agents and resellers helping to maximise their contribution to ZephIR Lidar sales goals and increasing ZephIR Lidar’s exposure within the market.

Populate, update and manage customer accounts and prospect information on the company CRM database.

Assist in bidding and bid support activities as required.

Provide Customer and Market feedback on ZephIR product performance and application, to inform corporate product development strategy and engineering support functions.

You will be representative of ZephIR Lidar in all interactions both written and in person, building our reputation for high quality products with good customer service.

Person Requirements

You will be educated to a degree level with enthusiasm and drive for sales and learning about our products and industry.

Previous experience in sales would be beneficial but not essential.

Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Location and Benefits

You will be based in our newly renovated facility near Ledbury/Malvern.For a more accurate location, please use the post code HR8 1EU. Due to the remote location, public transport is not possible; as such a driver’s licence and access to a vehicle is preferred.

Salary offered will be dependent on your experience and fit for role. As a member of the Sales team, a company bonus scheme and a Sales Commission bonus scheme are also part of the package.

The ZephIR Lidar team deliver world class, industry leading wind measurement systems and supporting services for onshore and offshore wind energy projects and turbine mounted applications.

In 2003 we released the first commercial wind lidar, ZephIR Lidar®, exploiting decades of research at UK government Research & Development establishment QinetiQ.
