Job Title:Legal Secretary / Paralegal

Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client, a well-established firm of Solicitors based in Stoke-on-Trent. They are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary / Paralegal to support their Litigation Department. As a Legal Secretary, you will also support the Corporate and Employment Departments as and when required.

Duties include:

  • The Legal Secretary will be required to support our clients Litigation Department, as well as their Corporate and Employment Departments as and when required
  • To provide full secretarial support to fee earner(s), including word processing of letters, notes, bills, legal documentation and general administrative duties
  • Liaising with colleagues, clients and other third parties as directed
  • Maintenance of fee earner diary and providing client care cover as required
  • Answering all telephone queries and dealing with clients face to face

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven Legal Secretary experience; ideally in Litigation
  • Well-spoken with an excellent telephone manner
  • Highly motivated and ambitious
  • Well organised and a good team player
  • The ability to provide excellent service standards for clients
  • Experience of using Case Management Systems
  • Strong administration and document production skills

Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5.30pm

Salary: £16 - £20,000 per annum
