Head of Membership - National Association of Jewellers
£35K plus bonus&benefits Midlands Base with UK travel
A pivotal role focused on the retention and recruitment of members.
The National Association of Jewellers is a successful and highly-regarded trade association with over 2,000 members employing 23,000 people. Its declared mission is to increase confidence in the UK consumer’s purchase of jewellery through the integrity, professionalism, governance, representation, education, training and creativity of its members.
The main purpose of this role is to recruit and retain members through the provision of low cost, high value membership services.
Key responsibilities for the Head of Membership are:
- Support the CEO in writing the annual membership plan and ensure its efficient and effective implementation.
- Raise the profile of the Association by organising and attending UK Industry events, and visiting individual members and potential members.
- Provide a comprehensive selection of low cost, high value services; and actively sell the additional services offered by Education, Institute of Registered Valuers, JBN etc.
- Lead a team of experienced staff, ensuring membership meets its financial and operational targets.
The successful candidate will be:
An experienced and energetic sales person currently within the Jewellery industry; who is diplomatic, adaptable, a skilled communicator, good relationship builder and experienced in leading teams.
