We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Apprentice to join a successful engineering business in Wolverhampton. Our client is looking to employ an apprentice who is keen to progress in the world of engineering and who has a real passion and desire to understand the workings of machinery and who has a flair for fixing and solving mechanical problems.

The training will take place at LEMA situated in Dudley where you will be required to attend a 6 week programme prior to starting the apprenticeship and you will spend 2 days per week gaining your Level 1 Certificate in Engineering. On successful completion of this, you will move onto your apprenticeship where 1 day a week will be spent in classroom/workshop based learning to gain your Level 2 Diploma in Performing Engineering Operations and 4 days with the employer. On successful completion of your Level 2 Apprenticeship, you will then be ready to progress to a Level 3 Apprenticeship Programme.

The company will give you an opportunity to develop skills in a number of different areas within engineering including:





·Using hand tools

The right candidate must have a minimum of 5 GCSE’s Grade C or above including Maths and English and must be able to demonstrate:

·A mature attitude

·A willingness to learn

·Excellent timekeeping and attendance
