Our client seeks a high calibre Lettings Manager for their busy offices in Leamington Spa.Job Role:The overall aim of the Student Lettings Manager is to effectively assist in the running of the Student Lettings department within the company , and action the delegated tasks below:Primary Task:The primary task of the Student Lettings Manager is to achieve the aims and objectives of the company by carrying out the key tasks relating to the day to day running of the business.Job Content Key tasks:Assisting in achieving Student Lettings departmental targets
Building relationships with colleagues and clients. Especially focussing on landlord relationships
Being an escalation point for landlord, tenant and guarantor problems & complaints
Arranging the marketing of new and existing properties to ensure maximum revenue for the company and it’s clients.Conducting letting assessments where required.Ensuring all paperwork is in place for all agreed tenancies in accordance with company procedure, in conjunction with the Business Process Outsourcing Team (BPO)
Implementation of further automation & process improvements for both the BPO outsourcing team tasks, and the UK office, Utilising our technology platforms as much as possible.
Utilising new processes and procedures, to rationalise and implement procedures across both residential and student departments.
Maintain an awareness of competition in the surrounding areas & reporting / analysis
Keeping up to date with the current stock of student properties throughout the yearly cycle to ensure that customers are given a professional service .
Key Handling – Particularly in seasonal trends – Summer student move out & move in. - July, August and September
To carry out all duties within the context of companies operational policies including Equal Opportunities, Confidentiality and Health and Safety.Assisting in the growth of the student lettings department by marketing effectively and maintaining and growing the existing portfolioAttending strategy meetings where requiredWorking alongside companies International department to ensure the Leamington branch performs as a flagship for the businessReporting & analysis on current departmental stock and completing comparison reports where necessaryConducting property inspections & inventories where appropriateConducting staff reviews, and team meetingsSigning off invoices / bills through landlords accounts, and approving costs as required.Maintaining Money Laundering & Data protection standardsFor more information, please contact us for a confidential chat.
