A vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Support Technician to join an established and skilled team. The successful applicant will support a number of teaching activities including courses for the health and social care professions. Duties include, but are not limited to, set up and clear up of laboratories, clinics and other teaching rooms, maintenance of equipment, updating asset inventories and maintaining organised storage areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to work within a committed technical team within a dynamic forward-thinking University. You may have Bachelor’s degree in biological, biomedical related subjects or in a Nursing or other health related discipline or an equivalent combination of education/experience in a technician role. The minimum qualifications include BTEC, HND, NVQ (level 3 or above) or equivalent with a minimum of GSCE maths and English language or equivalent.
