We are looking for individuals who have a passion and an interest in all things IT to embark on an apprenticeship over a 12-month period.

Who you'll work for

As an IT Support Apprentice, you'll be working in a Help Desk Team focusing on Desktop/Server and Cloud Services Support. Reporting to the Team Leader, You'll be joining a growing team and will help in providing professional and proactive support to customers. This is an entry level position with excellent career progression, support and prospects.

As a IT Support Engineer your job includes:
• To provide first line support, answering support quires via phone and email.
• To take ownership of client problems and be proactive when dealing with client issues.
• Desktop/Server installation and configuration.
• Assisting clients in supporting their cloud infrastructure.
• Resolving faults and explaining to client the work you have carried out.
• Recording problems within the helpdesk system so that task histories can be reviewed.

What experience and skills do I need?

You'll need at least five GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above including Maths, English and either IT or Science.

Therefore, you'll have the following skills:

• A passion for IT.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal skills, any existing technical qualifications and/or experience will help but are not essential.
• Capability to cope under pressure.
• Must be willing to undergo a DBS check.
