As part of our continued expansion of our facilities, we are searching for a Service Engineer/Technician to join our Service Engineering and Production Team to provide support for the daily activities within the facility. Initially this role will learn the processes of inspection, testing, servicing, upgrading, repairing, assembling, calibrating, deploying and training of our ZephIR products, but ultimately we are looking for someone who can step up to a customer facing role to directly support our Customer Support Manager. The role also includes the need to travel on a global basis as and when required.

The role would suit a graduate engineer, with a strong ability to learn, and great communication skills.

Although some experience working within an electronics service or production environment will be a benefit, you must have either carried out a modern apprenticeship in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or have had previous experience in an electronic repair and test environment. A degree or HNC/ONC Electrical/Electronic Engineering will be a distinct advantage. Experienced in a technical customer facing support role would be ideal but having excellent technical problem solving skills is essential. You should also be able to show a good working knowledge and ability of using general service tools, including soldering and be able to use lab equipment for fault finding in complex electronic equipment. You will also be expected to provide technical support and infield feedback to the Engineering and R&D Teams.
