Location: Coventry / Nuneaton

About the role:

The Fleet Administrator will assist with the day to day running of a fleet of 3000+ vehicles, ensuring that they are legally compliant and roadworthy. You will also need to assist in maximising the fleet's MPG performance and decreasing CO2 output in line with targets set by the customer.

Responsibilities:

- Ordering fuel cards and ancillary parts for engineer's vehicles
- Taxing vehicles, processing parking fines
- Booking driver training courses
- Logging accident reports on a dedicated Fleet System
- Arranging vehicle deliveries and collections
- Checking vehicles in to site when they are returned from the field
- Assisting with preparing vehicles for new start engineers
- Reporting using Excel
- Improving MPG and decreasing CO2 output
- Raising recharges for vehicle damage
- Checking vehicles upon delivery / collection from site in the compound
- Moving vehicles from the compound to other storage sites / garages

Essential skills / experience:

- IT skills in Excel and PowerPoint for reporting
- Experience of vehicle telematics systems
- Proven experience of providing excellent customer service
- Experience using fleet maintenance systems
- Experience of working within a large fleet department
- Ability to communicate competently via phone and email
- Full / Clean Driving Licence

Desirable skills / experience:

- Experience of van fleets
- Familiarity with VW product
- Working within a large fleet environment
- Experience with MPG training courses
- Experience in vehicle MPG performance improvement, and CO2 reduction
- Strategy for MPG improvement
