This privately owned company, which was spun out of a FTSE100 engineering company, is looking for a Requirements Engineer to join their team in the West Midlands.

The Role:

As a Requirements Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining V-Model requirements in order to define essential characteristics of the companies' electro/mechanical device. You'll also be involved in maintaining and improving the V-Model design documentation relating to the product. As well as this you will become a specialist within Requirements Management for the organisation.

The ideal requirements engineer will come from an electro-mechanical background, ideally in a highly regulated environment, however other industries can be considered. Experience with a requirement management tool is essential, and can include DOORS and Cognition Cockpit (among others). You'll need to have experience with Verification & Validation, as well as a full understanding of the V Model. Knowledge of risk management processes are not essential but will hold you in good stead.
