Accounts Assistant/Purchase Ledger Clerk required for a long term temporary contract working for a well established business based in Evesham with a view to start immediately. You will be working as part of a long standing finance team where you will be responsible for the day to day running of the purchase ledger function processing up to 500 invoices per month. Your daily duties will include matching batching and coding invoices, processing payments by BACs and cheque, reconciling supplier statements and resolving supplier queries. You will also be required to processing employee expense, raise invoices and allocate cash, banking and other generic accounting duties.

My client is ideally looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk with a hands on approach who is able to join the business and hit the ground running. You must have excellent communication skills and strong working knowledge of a computerised accounting system and Microsoft Excel.

My client is a well established business based in Evesham with an open and friendly culture. This business is easily accessible by public transport, offers on site parking and there is some flexibility in the working hours for the right candidate.
