Our client, an insurance brokerage based in Birmingham is seeking an experienced PA to support the UK Head credit. This main responsibility of this role is to provide organisational and administrative support to directors such as diary management and making travel arrangements. You must have previous experience as a PA to a Senior Director

Key Responsibilities

  • Diary Management such as organising meetings, travel and re-schedules when appropriate
  • Preparation of relevant documents for meetings
  • Travel arrangements including flights, cars and trains and sometimes for family, paying attention to detail with regards to type of meeting attending and specific
  • Organising internal and external meetings
  • Dealing with expenses
  • Organising and responding to daily post
  • Typing up presentations and documents
  • Co-ordinating management team events such as monthly meetings, dinners and conferences
  • Monitoring e-mails, and prioritising urgent information
  • General admin support for documents, letters, calendars and meetings
  • Dealing with telephone calls from consumers to the CEO

Key Skills

  • Previous experience in a PA role providing support to a Senior Director
  • Strong administration skills
  • Confident and mature approach
  • Calm and courteous under pressure
  • Ability to work in a busy environment and prioritise workload
  • To have discretion and diplomacy when given information that may be confidential
  • Advanced Computer Skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
